Art is an expression of one’s thoughts and emotions. It is often intended to connect and communicate one’s feelings. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, hence the open discussion an artwork may project. Nonetheless, it strikes a conversation amongst individuals sharing their views and opinions on what first captured their eyes.

Art Zone’s 3rd exhibition entitled "Art Is All Around" comprises of 2 sections; Fairytale and Nature. The Fairytale section is filled with dreams and fantasies of every child’s aspiration in finding creativity and exploration beyond their world. The nature section on the other hand, gave an awareness of reality and its surrounding beauty like a poetic ensemble.

The surrealism in each piece called for an imaginative interpretation of boundless concepts depicting the children’s thoughts through their artworks. Like wallpaper beautifying a room, these wonderful artworks will canvas the walls of the exhibition, making it vibrant and colourful. Each masterpiece shares the children’s artistic expedition beyond their imagination.

Be it in our dreams or reality, art is definitely all around us.

A total of 360 artworks and collaborative collages by children of age 3 to 13 were showcased.
