Event : Art in Wonderland, A Children Art Fiesta Date : 2 August 2008 (Saturday) Time : 10.00am to 5.00pm Venue : UE Square Skylight Atrium (fully sheltered) Organised by : Art Zone Pte Ltd Admission : Free Participation of Activities : By Coupons

Purpose :

	To promote family bonding thru art. There will be various art activities/contests that require participation from children       together with their parents.
	To promote recycling art and generate awareness of the importance of cutting down wastage by recycling used       materials.
	To build confidence and encourage spontaneity/creativity in children thru various art activities in an arty wonderland .
	To enable a group of special needs children to blend in and experience art the fun way.

Post Event Thank You Note :

Even though Art in Wonderland was held on the same day of the National Day Parade preview, the turnout was (to our amazement) so overwhelming that all 900 goodie bags from our generous sponsors were given out to participants within the day. Children together with their family members from both the local and expatriates’ community came together and took part in the many exciting and fun-filled art activities that cater to every individual. Some even went home with trophies and prizes which they had won from the various interesting contests (such as The Extreme PaintOver Contest) that battle their wits and creativity.

It was also a hot Saturday and children/parents were seen perspiring whilst churning up their pieces of art. Yet, many stayed on braving the scorching sun just to be part of the event.

Art in Wonderland was beyond our expectation. We hope every one of you who came did enjoy yourselves as much as we did to organize it.
