Expressions Beyond Words

Art is an exploration of feelings and emotions. We often use it to portray our thoughts, dreams and aspirations. Our moods and sentiments are also reflected and embedded in each art piece, making it unique and personal. Through regular practice, art can subconsciously bring us to a journey of self discovery and foster our connection to the world within and beyond .

In this exhibition the children’s imaginations are brought to life as they showcase their love for art through their candid and expressive art pieces. Their innocent, joyful and carefree spirit are conveyed in every piece through the choice of vibrant colours and confident strokes used. Each and every one of the art pieces has a story to tell, which evokes and stimulates specific emotions for the viewer to interprete.

Some people prefer to write their thoughts down, while others enjoy painting their thoughts. As the saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words”, which makes the latter seems much easier and less complex. And that is why . . . .
